Dustin James Baumbarger, 44, of Lima passed away Friday, November 14, 2025.
Dustin was born in Bowling Green, Ohio on May 15, 1981 to the late James and Jacqueline (Adams) Baumbarger. He married Lori Groger and they later divorced. Dustin is survived by his brothers: Scott (Kristina) Baumbarger of Carey and Rusty (Tina Fowler) Baumbarger of Lima; nieces and nephews: Shiloh Irvin, Taylor Paseff, Jacqueline Buhro, Hunter Baumbarger and Dakota Baumbarger and his canine companion Jet. He was also preceded in death by his nephew Rusty Baumbarger II.
Dustin honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was an outdoorsman through and through, happiest when he was hunting, fishing, or simply taking in the quiet beauty of nature. He also enjoyed the fun and adventure of playing Pokémon Go, a pastime that brought out his playful spirit.
Dustin had a wonderful sense of humor and a gift for lifting the spirits of those around him. He was a godly man whose faith guided him daily, and he loved his family with all his heart. His kindness, laughter, and unwavering devotion will be cherished and remembered always by all who knew and loved him.
Graveside Service will be held at a later date in the Wood County Memory Gardens, Bowling Green.
