The Bowling Green Police Division is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying this man who allegedly stole from a restaurant in the 900 block of South Main Street on Thursday (Feb. 19), around 5:50 p.m.
The man reportedly placed an order before going to the cashier to pay. He initially handed the cashier a $50 bill, then continued handing her additional bills to exchange in an apparent attempt to confuse her and “fleece the business of some dough.”
As a result of this interaction, the business balanced the cash drawers and discovered they were more than $250.39 short.
