Due to unforeseen circumstances, the intersection of Conneaut and Wintergarden will remain closed to through traffic into next week.
The Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection Division, when attempting to complete connections in the intersection, discovered a malfunctioning valve on North Wintergarden requiring attention. In order to complete the connections at the intersection as well as repair the malfunctioning valve, several additional valves further north on Wintergarden will have to be closed.
As a result of shutting these additional valves, a boil advisory will be issued for residents living in the affected area. Affected residents will be notified in advance. A map of the affected area, as well as updates on the status of the boil advisory, may be accessed from the city utilities website.
