Meta recently awarded its 2026 Data Center Community Action Grants to 11 nonprofits and schools funding projects that support the long-term vitality of Bowling Green and Wood County. Grant recipients, Meta team members, and local leaders celebrated at an event on April 30.

Meta’s Data Center Community Action Grant program provides funding for local nonprofits, schools, and community organizations – aiming to address community needs by putting technology to use for local benefit, helping to enable people to build strong, sustainable communities and improving local STEAM education.

“Strong communities, like Wood County, don’t grow by chance – they grow through intentional investment. That’s why we’re committed to playing a positive role where we operate, supporting ideas that create lasting impact,” said Amanda Miller Bartlome, community development regional manager for the Bowling Green data center. “We’re proud to celebrate this year’s inaugural grant recipients, whose work continues to strengthen and uplift the community through Meta’s Data Center Community Action Grants.”
