The May edition of the free View & Chew movie series will feature the film adaptation of the bestselling novel, “Remarkably Bright Creatures,” by Shelby Van Pelt.
The film stars Sally Field and Lewis Pullman and tells the story of Tova, an elderly widow who forms unexpected bonds during her night shifts at a local aquarium. Through those connections, she uncovers a discovery that could change her life and restore joy and wonder once again.
The movie will be shown on Thursday, May 21, at the Virginia Theater. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and the movie will begin at 6 p.m. Concessions will be available for purchase.
The View & Chew series is free and open to the public. Community members are invited to attend and enjoy an evening at the historic theater.
