From WOOD COUNTY MUSEUM
The Wood County Museum will kick off its free summer concert series, “Music at the Museum,” on Thursday, June 11, starting at 6 p.m. Concert-goers are asked to bring chairs or blankets for lawn seating. A beer garden will be on site, and no outside alcohol will be allowed. Food trucks for the evening will be The Wailing Onion, Wokup Street Hibachi, and BD’s Lemonade King.
The June event will feature two bands – at 6 p.m. the rock group Classic Mellow Rock Show will play and at 7:30 p.m., Nikki “D” & The Sisters of Thunder, a blues/soul group will play. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be canceled.
Additional concert dates are July 9, Aug. 13, and Sept. 10. All concerts will start at 6 p.m.
Music at the Museum remains free to the community due to sponsors. Supporting sponsors include Foster Jones Sommers, Investment Group of Raymond James, Visit BG Ohio, Dave & Cindy Hollinger, Charles & Liesel Traister, The Willows at Bowling Green, and Tucker Electrical Service.
