Bowling Green Police arrested a man for alleged domestic violence after officers responded to a home in the 200 block of South College Drive this morning (July 1) around 2:16 a.m.
When police arrived, they found a woman crying on the floor and a man, Derek Bryner, 31, of Bowling Green, yelling at her. Bryner reportedly told police that the woman may have gotten injured when he pushed her onto the bed, and her head hit the metal bed frame.
The police report listed the woman’s injuries as follows: ruptured blood vessels in her left eye, swelling on the left side of her face, multiple scratches on the left side of her neck, a softball-sized swollen knot behind her right ear, and dried blood on her ear.
Bryner was taken to Wood County Jail.
