From WOOD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY

Wood County continues to be under an “extreme heat warning” through today, July 3, until 8 p.m. Today, actual air temperatures will be 95°F, with the heat index at 105°F.

During this time, everyone is encouraged to check on their family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to make sure they are not showing any signs or symptoms of heat illnesses and call 9-1-1 if needed.
