Northwestern Water and Sewer District provides updates on current projects

The Northwestern Water and Sewer District (The District) delivers water and sewer services to over 20,000 customers accounts in Wood, Henry, Sandusky, and Hancock Counties. Although many of the projects are underground, utility work can impact water and sewer services and roads throughout the area. All work is weather permitting.

Northwood: Woodville Road waterline replacement

Through October, lane restrictions are possible on Woodville Road between Lemoyne and Owen Roads for waterline work. The project investment is $1.8 million and is expected to be complete in October.

District-wide hydrant flushing

Through July, weekdays from 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., District crews will be flushing hydrants in Perrysburg Township. Residents are advised to flush water from their taps if the water becomes discolored.
