The Bowling Green Community Center will be closed to all facility users from Monday, Aug. 10, through Sunday, Aug. 16, for its annual maintenance shutdown. The facility will reopen on Monday, Aug. 17.
For those needing to conduct business with the Parks & Recreation Department during this time, the Simpson Building Administrative Offices, 1291 Conneaut Ave., will remain open on a limited basis, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., to process program registrations, rental reservations/payments, and other related services.
As part of the city’s reciprocal use agreement, Community Center passholders will have access to the BGSU Student Recreation Center during the closure. Additional details regarding this temporary access will be shared with current passholders via email as the maintenance dates approach.
The Bowling Green Parks & Recreation Department thanks all community center users for their understanding and cooperation during this essential maintenance period.
