From BOWLING GREEN COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

The Bowling Green Community Foundation has announced that applications for its 2026 grant cycle are officially open.

Each year, the foundation is proud to support local non-profits, educators, and organizations working to make Bowling Green a stronger, more vibrant community.

Highlighted funding priorities for 2026

The foundation invites non-profit organizations in the 43402 and 43403 zip codes, and public and private school educators in the Bowling Green school district to apply for grants ranging from $500 to $7,500 for programs that enhance the health, welfare, and vitality of life of the Bowling Green community.

In addition to its general grant opportunities, the foundation is pleased to announce extra funding specifically dedicated to two areas this year:

  • School field trips (history and social studies): Dedicated funding is available for Bowling Green schools to support educational field trips related to American history.
  • Food insecurity: Targeted funds have been reserved for local initiatives and projects addressing hunger and food access in the community.
