Tony Packo’s is proud to announce the official opening of the Tony Packo’s History Museum, a new permanent attraction dedicated to preserving and sharing the history, traditions, and cultural impact of one of Toledo’s iconic institutions.
Located at the original Tony Packo’s on Front Street, the museum offers guests an immersive journey through the company’s nearly 100-year history. Visitors will discover a collection of memorabilia, historic artifacts, photographs, and exhibits that showcase the people, stories, and moments that helped make Tony Packo’s a destination for generations of guests.
The museum also highlights Tony Packo’s place in popular culture, including its connection to the television series “MASH*” and the visitors, celebrities, and community members who have contributed to the restaurant’s enduring legacy.
“Tony Packo’s has always been about more than great food,” said Lindsey Bond, executive director of Tony Packo’s. “It’s about family, community, tradition, and the stories that have connected people to Front Street for generations. The Front Street Museum allows us to preserve those stories and share them with longtime fans and first-time visitors alike.”
Guided tours will be led by Tony Packo’s historian, Jim Beard, who will bring the exhibits to life through firsthand accounts, historical insights, and stories from the restaurant’s past. Tours are approximately 60 to 75 minutes in length and provide guests with a deeper appreciation for the history that continues to shape the Tony Packo’s experience today.
The opening of the Front Street Museum reflects Tony Packo’s ongoing commitment to honoring its heritage while creating new ways for guests to connect with the brand.
