The remaining performances in the Verandah Concert season feature a brass instruments choir and a big band playing World War II-era tunes.
The Terra Brass Choir will play on Wednesday, Aug. 5, and the North Coast Big Band will perform tunes from the 1940s on Wednesday, Aug. 19. Admission is free and open to the public.
Each event will begin with an ice cream social at 6:30 p.m. Donations can be made for the ice cream but are not required. Performances will start at 7 p.m.
The concerts will take place on the verandah of the historic home of the 19th U.S. President Rutherford and First Lady Lucy Hayes, and concertgoers are asked to bring a chair or blanket for seating on the lawn.

Hayes Presidential is America’s first presidential library. It is partially funded by the state of Ohio and affiliated with the Ohio History Connection. Hayes Presidential is located at Spiegel Grove on Buckland Avenue.
