The Wood County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single vehicle crash this evening (Aug. 4) that resulted in one fatality.
The crash occurred around 7 p.m. in the 24000 block of West River Road in Middleton Township.
The investigation reportedly showed that a 2012 Harley Street Glide motorcycle was traveling southwest while attempting to negotiate a curve, and traveled off the roadway.
The operator, Alan Clayton Magsig, 59, of Perrysburg, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Assisting at the scene were Middleton Township Fire and EMS, Perrysburg Fire, Perrysburg Police, and Bargain Tire and Auto.
The crash is still under investigation.
