The Bowling Green Fire Division invites the community to its annual open house at the Pearl Street Fire Station, 1060 Pearl St., on Sunday, Sept. 27. This event aims to be a day of safety and fun for all visitors.
Guests and their families can enjoy:

- Safety house exploring
- Firefighter photo props
- Safety tips and friendly interactions with firefighters
- Fire hose demonstration

- Dilly Bars donated by Dairy Queen
Staff will showcase various safety scenarios and provide educational information for guests to take home, including child car seats, residential Knox boxes, and smoke and CO detectors.
Event schedule:
- 8 a.m. – Pancake breakfast begins
- 10 a.m. – Fire extinguisher demonstration 1
- 10:45 a.m. – Auto extrication 1
- 11:30 a.m. – Fire safety house
- 12:15 p.m. – Tower 1 rope rescue
- 1 p.m. – Fire extinguisher demonstration 2
- 1:30 p.m. – Auto extrication 2
This event is free and open to all looking to gain helpful information on fire safety.
