A Toledo man was arrested for assault on Friday (Sept. 25) around 12:46 a.m., after allegedly pushing one woman to the ground and spitting in the face of another woman.
A Bowling Green Police officer was downtown when he reportedly saw Sean Williams, 21, yelling at two women near the intersection of North Main Street and Oak Street. Williams reportedly tried to punch one woman and spit in her face. The officer arrested Williams.
The women told police that earlier in the evening they had seen Williams push a woman to the ground. Police reviewed video from the downtown cameras, which reportedly showed Williams pushing the woman to the ground in an alley.
Williams was taken to Wood County Jail.
