From BOWLING GREEN FFA
The Bowling Green FFA chapter recently hosted an open-to-all community event that aimed to combine fun, fellowship, and kindness to benefit Nationwide Children’s Hospital-Toledo. The event drew a crowd of students, teachers, families, and some local residents, who gathered on the school grounds to enjoy an afternoon filled with games, food, and community spirit.
Among the most popular attractions was the dunk tank, where attendees eagerly lined up for the chance to dunk teachers and coaches. Laughter and cheers filled the air each time someone struck the target, making it one of the event’s highlights. Guests also enjoyed a variety of other events such as inflatable attractions, cornhole, and a face painting table that kept the younger crowd smiling throughout the evening.
Bowling Green FFA also did their best to make sure no one left the event hungry. With a donation from Belleville Meat Market, attendees could enjoy free hotdogs, along with chips, cookies, and bottled water that the chapter provided.
In addition, FFA members organized a “miracle quarter” during the second quarter of that evening’s football game. Students circulated throughout the crowd collecting spare change and cash donations. Every dollar raised went toward supporting children and families in need through Nationwide Children’s Hospital-Toledo. The event raised a total of $977.02.
The Bowling Green FFA chapter extends its gratitude to all sponsors, volunteers, and attendees for their generosity and support. The chapter looks forward to continuing its tradition of serving the community through events that bring people together for a meaningful cause.
