Youth invited to free program about ‘cozy critters’ at Wintergarden Park

Wintergarden Rotary Nature Center

From CITY OF BOWLING GREEN

The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department is excited to invite all curious critters to learn what their wild friends do in the winter. This program is intended for ages 5-9 and the required registration is free. Participants will meet at Wintergarden/St. John’s Nature Preserve, 615 S. Wintergarden Road, Bowling Green, on Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 5-6 p.m.

Beginning with a short hike, attendees will explore the kind of winter dens, nests, and burrows that are at the preserve. To warm up, everyone will head back to the Rotary Nature Center to make their own cozy homes. Adults are encouraged to dress participants appropriately for the weather outside.
