Bowling Green City Schools will be hosting a Grandparents Resource Night on Wednesday, March 28, from 6 to 8 p.m., in Kenwood Elementary School, 710 Kenwood Ave.
The purpose of the evening is to have grandparents who are raising their grandchildren come together, meet one another, and gather information about services available in Bowling Green City Schools as well as Wood County.
Judy Paschalis, former director of Kinship Caregivers, a grandparent support group in Lucas County, will be the keynote speaker.
Childcare with a meal for the children will be provided. Light refreshments will be available for all grandparents.
Some organizations that will be onsite with information are: Wood County Job and Family Services, United Way, Bowling Green Parks and Recreation, Girl Scouts, Bowling Green State University and the Children’s Resource Center.
