The public is invited to attend the next meeting of the Suicide Prevention Coalition on Feb. 28, 1:30 p.m., at the Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board, 745 Haskins Road in Bowling Green.
The Wood County Suicide Prevention Coalition is a community of citizens from diverse backgrounds who are united in our resolve to save lives. We pursue coordinated strategies to educate and increase awareness that suicide is a public health problem, not a private shame.
Our Coalition is committed to increased public understanding of depression, mental illness, and alcohol and drug abuse as treatable health conditions, not as signs of personal weakness.
