Charles Lee Allen Jr., 71, of Weston, Ohio passed away July 27, 2023. He was born March 26, 1952 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Charles L. Allen Sr. and L. Maxine (Smith) Allen. He married Debra Murphy on November 27, 1971 and she survives.
Chuck was a member of Weston United Methodist Church. He formerly served as the president of the Otsego Athletic Boosters and built the baseball dugouts at Otsego High School with his father. Chuck was very involved with the National Tractor Pulling Association where he ran the flags on the track for many years.
He enjoyed auto racing, classic cars and attending car shows. Chuck was an avid University of Michigan fan and loved Rock & Roll. He adored his grandchildren- never missing an opportunity to attend all of their sport events and activities.
Along with his wife of nearly 52 years, Deb, Chuck is survived by his children Patricia (Brad) Beebe of Tontogany, Ohio and Jeremy (Angela) Allen of Haskins, Ohio, grandchildren Nyle (Kayla), Chase, Hunter, Elizabeth, Julian, Tara Lynn, Libby and Maizey, great-grandchildren Cash, Brooks and Cameryn and siblings Gary (Deb) Allen of Columbus, Ohio, Steven (Kendra) Allen of Holgate, Ohio and Vicki (Doug) Capelle of Bowling Green, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Tara Leigh Allen.
Visitation will be held on Sunday July 30, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home, 18620 Washington St. Tontogany, Ohio 43565. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday July 31, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Weston United Methodist Church, 13185 Maple St. Weston, Ohio 43569.
