Dollie Crystal Heckman, age 83, of Luckey, OH passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, in Perrysburg on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. She was born in Bowling Green, OH on September 5, 1940 to the late Ivan and Alvina (Kasman) Reyome. On October 24, 1960 Dollie married Robert Heckman in Monroe, MI. Dollie and Bob raised 3 children and celebrated nearly 59 years of marriage together, before Bob’s passing is July of 2019.
In addition to being a homemaker, Dollie, worked as a cook at Bowling Green State University for 10 years. She was a past member of the Troy Township Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Dollie enjoyed watching all kinds of birds, watching old westerns on TV, and playing bingo. Her greatest joy remained her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren.
Dollie is survived by her children: Cathy Mohre of Luckey, Bob Heckman of WV, and Kimberly (Mark) Mohre of Luckey. Grandchildren: Trent (Kristen) Heckman, Kaycee (Josh) Patterson, Kaitlyn (KC) Kriston, Tyler (Bethany) Mohre, Travis (Justine) Mohre, Eric (Dillon Solomon) Mohre and Tanner (Madison Matchinski) Mohre, 13 great grandchildren, sister, Janet Caskey of Maumee, brother, Danny (Tonya) Reyome of FL, numerous nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends will be received 9-11 a.m., on Monday, February 19, 2024 at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home 110 Main Street Luckey, OH. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home 11 a.m., Monday, February 19, 2024. Officiating will be, Pr. Brandi Bailie. Interment will be in Troy Township Cemetery.
