Wood County has been placed on a Level 1 snow alert as of 4:35 p.m. Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may also be icy. Motorists are urged to drive cautiously.
Bowling Green City School opening will be delayed two hours on Thursday, Feb. 13.
The Wood County District Public Library (both locations) will have a delayed opening Thursday, Feb. 13 due to winter weather. The library will open at noon. There will be no Bookmobile or outreach services.
Per the Board of County Commissioners, Wood County buildings will open for business at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, due to incoming inclement weather. This will allow the county’s maintenance crew to have additional time to treat parking lots and sidewalks and will also provide road crews additional time to perform their work.
Several early closings due to inclement weather were announced on Wednesday.
The Wood County District Public Library (both locations) will be closing early today, Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 3 p.m. because of winter weather.
The Wood County Senior Center also announced it will close at 4 p.m., and there will be no dinner served today.
