From WOOD SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT
The Agricultural Incubator Foundation has opened registration for its 2026 community garden season. Area residents, families, and community groups are invited to secure their space to grow fresh produce, flowers, and more at the foundation’s Bowling Green facility, 13737 Middleton Pike (Ohio 582) between Hull Prairie Road and Ohio 25.
Whether someone is looking for a small space for personal use or a large plot for a market garden, AIF offers a variety of options to suit gardeners’ needs.
AIF provides both conventional and organic plots in different sizes. Rates are for the full 2026 growing season:
- 4′ x 8′ raised bed – $20 (limited availability)
- 10′ x 10′ plot – $30
- 20′ x 20′ plot – $60
- 40′ x 40′ plot – $75
To ensure a successful growing season, the AIF community gardens include tilled plots, on-site water and hoses, shared gardening tools, and storage shed access.
Plots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Garden guidelines and the sign-up form can be found at www.agincubator.org. Weather permitting, plots will be tilled and ready in early to mid-May.
AIF also has commercial-sized greenhouses and pole barns available for lease.
