The Bowling Green Exchange Club and Bowling Green High School have announced that Alex Xu is the October 2023 Student of the Month. Alex is a senior at Bowling Green High School and will graduate on May 26, 2024. He is the son of Hong Xu and Lan Li.
Alex’s school honors and activities include membership in the National Honors Society, a BGHS representative at Buckeye Boys State, Model UN, and College Board National Recognition awardee.
Alex is involved in the high school football, swim, and track teams. He was awarded first team NLL for swimming last year. Additionally, Alex participates in the Greater Toledo International Youth Orchestra, Toledo Minds Stem Camp, and a research internship at BGSU.
Alex currently has a composite ACT score of 31 and a 4.52 grade point average.
After high school, Alex is still undecided of where he will attend college, but plans to study engineering.
