Meet Thor, the 1-year-old American bulldog who came to the Wood County Dog Shelter as a stray. According to Chief Dog Warden Jodi Harding, Thor is a calmer dog who is a bit more reserved when he first meets someone. He loves to go for walks, and likes to sunbathe outside. He doesn’t jump up and knows his basic manners.
He is neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on his vaccines.
Thor came in with another dog who has since been transferred to a local rescue group. Thor seems to do well with the other dogs at the shelter, but anyone who already has a dog should bring that dog to the shelter to meet Thor before the adoption.
