BG Chamber of Commerce warns about scam emails from entity pretending to be chamber

The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce has become aware that an entity is sending phishing scam emails pretending to represent the chamber.

The BG Chamber has not, and will not, ask anyone to download anything in an email. The chamber often invites its investors and broader community to events, but this is done through “Monday Reminders” and social media posts.

If you receive an email addressing you by name and inviting you to download something, or follow a suspect link, it is not from the BG Chamber. You should immediately report these emails as phishing. Remain vigilant, and do not hesitate to reach out to the chamber at (419) 353-7945, or contact communications@bgchamber.net, should you ever question if what is being sent to you is actually from the BG Chamber.
