I am pleased to offer my strongest support for Brenna Reynolds in her run for Wood County commissioner. Throughout her service on Rossford City Council, Brenna has demonstrated the qualities essential for effective public leadership – integrity, accountability, collaboration, persistence, and a genuine commitment to the residents she represents.
Brenna is currently serving on Rossford City Council, where she has built an impressive record of hands-on constituent service. She has hosted more than 18 quarterly community conversations with constituents. Her accessibility shows she’s a public servant who makes herself available, listens carefully, and believes that elected officials have an obligation to remain connected to the people they serve. Brenna’s leadership is distinctly collaborative. Her more than 50 bipartisan endorsements from current and former elected officials, business leaders, and retired public servants speaks to the respect she has earned across political and professional lines.
Perhaps most importantly, Brenna understands that public trust depends on transparency and accountability. She has made a clear commitment to never sign a non-disclosure agreement on a project affecting the residents she represents. She has also called for greater transparency regarding the county’s millions of dollars in reserves, believing residents deserve to know how much money is being held, and how those public dollars are being used each year. Brenna Reynolds is the kind of public servant who does not simply talk about representing people – she shows up, listens, asks difficult questions, builds relationships, and follows through.
The office of county commissioner requires extensive knowledge and experience of the governing process not suitable for those who lack such experience, or are single-issue candidates. I highly recommend Brenna and am confident she will continue to bring the same integrity, energy, collaborative spirit, and commitment to transparency that she has exhibited on Rossford City Council to every responsibility entrusted to her. It is my hope Wood County voters will join me in electing Brenna Reynolds as our next county commissioner on Nov. 3.
