From CITY OF BOWLING GREEN
The Bowling Green Firefighters Local 2379 is launching its annual breast cancer awareness fundraiser to support local breast cancer patients. In 2026, firefighters are teaming up with the Wood County Sheriff’s Office for a friendly “Battle of the Badges” competition while partnering with Underground Printing and the Maurer Family Cancer Care Center. The online store features custom t-shirt designs representing both departments, with all proceeds benefiting the Wood County Hospital Oncology Department and the local patients it serves.
Online orders will be accepted until midnight on Aug. 28. Prices range from $20-$30. Pick-up orders will be available at Underground Printing BG on Sept. 14., and shipping orders will be sent on Sept. 11.
