From BOWLING GREEN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The “Land of Sweets”-themed 71st annual Bowling Green community holiday parade has filled all registration availability, but wait-list spots remain open. The parade is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 21, with units stepping off at approximately 9:50 a.m. and the first unit arriving in downtown Bowling Green at 10 a.m. The chamber is thrilled to bring this event to life.
Sponsorship, waitlist, and volunteer registration forms can be found at the chamber’s website. The chamber cannot put on this community event without the support of local organizations and citizens, so the chamber asks those who are able to consider sponsoring the parade. Sponsorship tiers range from $50 to $1,000. To see how each contribution will be honored, refer to the online sponsorship form.
The Bowling Green community holiday parade is made possible by the following presenting sponsors: city of Bowling Green, Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce, and Wood County Hospital.
The chamber is excited to announce that WTOL Channel 11 will, once again, broadcast the parade live. For those planning to view the parade in-person, the prime viewing area tends to be between Court and Washington streets.
Participating in or sponsoring the holiday parade is an opportunity for businesses and organizations to share the joy and spirit of the holiday season with thousands of people in the area.
