Through the end of the month, some Bowling Green City building hours will be altered due to holiday schedules. Below is a list of changes.
Building Holiday Season Hours
- The city’s Administration Building will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- The city’s Administration Building will be closing at noon on Dec. 24 and 31.
- All non-24-hour city facilities will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
Community Center holiday season hours
- Dec. 24 open 7 a.m. to noon.
- Dec. 25 closed.
- Dec. 31 open 7 a.m. to noon.
- Jan. 1 closed.
Residents, whose refuse/recycling collection occur on Wednesdays or Thursdays, are also reminded that their curbside refuse and recycling collection will run on a one-day delay during the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s. Monday and Tuesday routes will not be impacted by the holiday schedule.
The annual Christmas tree recycling collection will begin on Monday, Jan. 6. Tree collection is not connected to the regular refuse/recycling schedule.
