Bowling Green Police Division arrested a man Friday evening after he reportedly assaulted an employee at a mental health residential facility.
David Bustamante, 54, who was residing at the facility in the 800 block of North College St., was charged with assault and taken to the Wood County jail.
Police were called to the facility around 5:23 p.m., after Bustamante reportedly punched the 21-year-old staff member in the face multiple times. The victim reportedly had a busted lip, bloody nose, and large bump on the back of her head.
Two other residents of the facility called 911 after they reportedly saw Bustamante punching the staff member.
