A Bowling Green man was arrested Saturday evening for aggravated menacing and telecommunications harassment of his former manager and co-worker.

Bowling Green Police received a report that William John Kingsley, 57, had quit his job earlier in the day, and repeatedly called and texted threats to his former place of employment in the 900 block of South Main Street.

While police were at the store, Kingsley reportedly called a co-worker there and said “You’re on my hit list now.” Employees of the store reported that they heard Kingsley threaten to burn down the home of his former boss.

Kingsley reportedly continued to call and text his boss throughout the evening, stating that he was driving past the business and could see the boss’ vehicle there.

While police were putting Kingsley in handcuffs, he reportedly stated “He’ll get what’s coming to him.”

Kingsley was taken to the Wood County jail.
