BG man arrested for allegedly firing gun in home, and endangering a child

Bowling Green Police arrested Tayler Trautsch, 23, after he allegedly fired a gun in a residence on Wednesday (March 19). Police were called to the residence, in the 1000 block of North Main Street, the next morning (March 20) by a woman who said she was afraid to call the night before.

Police found Trautsch in bed asleep, with a child. Officers removed the child from the room and arrested Trautsch for domestic violence, discharging a weapon within city limits, obstructing official business, aggravated menacing and endangering children. He was taken to Wood County Jail.

A bullet hole was found in the wall, as well as the knife that he allegedly held to the throat of the woman the night before. Three guns and a box of ammo were taken from the residence for safe keeping.
