Bowling Green Police charged a local man Friday (March 20) with violating a protection order and menacing. Jason Morris, 47, of Bowling Green, was taken to Wood County Jail.
Officers were called to a home in the 200 block of South Enterprise Street after Morris allegedly sent a threatening text to someone at the residence and then showed up at the home. Despite a protection order, Morris reportedly let himself into the home, acted aggressively, and was asked several times by the resident to leave the home.
Police arrested Morris at the hotel where he had been staying.
