A Bowling Green man was arrested for aggravated burglary, assault and criminal trespassing on Friday around 10 p.m.
Police responded to the 900 block of South Main Street for a report of someone breaking into and entering an apartment.
A resident reportedly came home to find Justin Madrigel, 27, outside her apartment. Madrigel had previously been trespassed from her home by police in June 2022.
The woman told police that she was trying to unlock her door, when Madrigel began trying to push his way inside. She suffered a scratch on her arm that was bleeding.
The woman said she started screaming “intruder,” and a neighbor came and grabbed Madrigel and took him to his apartment. Police found Madrigel at the neighbor’s apartment and took him into custody, transporting him to Wood County Jail.
