Bowling Green Police received a call Saturday afternoon from a father in Florida, who said his daughter in Bowling Green was being threatened by her husband.
Police responded to the home in the 600 block of Lafayette Boulevard, and arrested Chad Clark, 39, for domestic violence.
According to the police report, Clark allegedly charged at the woman multiple times, putting his clenched fists in her face, yelling that he would punch her in the head. The woman called her father in Florida so he could listen in and call BGPD.
The father said he heard Clark threaten to beat her face in.
When police arrived, they found the woman crying, holding their young child. She told police that Clark had hit her in the past.
Clark was arrested for threatening domestic violence and taken to Wood County Jail.
