A Bowling Green man was arrested for domestic violence and disrupting public services Wednesday after allegedly hitting his wife and taking her phone away when she tried to call for help.
Joshua Nelson, 27, of 1520 Clough St., Bowling Green, was arrested at the couple’s residence after police responded to a report of an assault victim at Wood County Hospital, according to Deputy Chief Justin White.
Police found Nelson’s wife with a laceration requiring stitches under her eye. The victim told police that her husband had kicked in the front door of their residence, and threw a chair at her, knocking her unconscious, White said.
