The Bowling Green Parks & Recreation Department has announced the return of the “Make-It & Take-It” crafts program for kids and their accompanying adults. Children ages 5-12, along with a parent, step-parent, grandparent, or other adult companion, can join in themed monthly arts and crafts activities.
These sessions will take place one Monday each month, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the programming room at the Veterans Building in City Park.
To ensure adequate supplies and preparation, participants must register at least one week prior to the session they wish to attend. Space is limited to the first 15 children (each accompanied by an adult). Adults may accompany more than one child, but each child participating in the activity must register separately. Adults do not need to register individually but are required to actively participate in the activity with their child. This program is designed for families, so unaccompanied children or adults cannot register.
The cost per session is $6 for city resident youths, and $9 for non-resident youths.
The winter 2025 schedule includes:
- Valentine’s Make-It Take-It Crafts – Feb. 10.
- St. Patrick’s Day Make-It Take-It Crafts – March 10.
- Spring Make-It Take-It Crafts – April 7.
This program offers a way to foster creativity, spend quality family time, and connect with the community. Visit https://buff.ly/4feibMD to sign up.
