Bowling Green Parks and Recreation has announced the return of the Friday morning birding program this spring. The community is invited to join the volunteer naturalists of Bowling Green Parks & Recreation every Friday from April 10 – May 15 at 8 a.m. for a casual birding hike at Wintergarden/St. John’s Nature Preserve.
Adult bird watchers of all ability levels are welcome, and binoculars and field guides will be available for those who need them. Each hike will last up to an hour and a half, and no pre-registration is required. People may come to one hike or all of them as schedules allow.
Participants are asked to wear weather appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes for walking on the trails. Regardless of weather, watchers will still flock together.
