A 12-year-old girl was arrested for assault after she allegedly punched another girl at a residential facility in Bowling Green.
Bowling Green Police were called to the facility Monday afternoon when staff reported that the girl punched another resident in the throat with a clenched fist. Police were also told that the girl had reportedly sexually assaulted one resident of the facility, and had attempted to sexually assault multiple other residents.
The girl was taken to Wood County Juvenile Detention Center. She is a ward of Wood County Job and Family Services, and reportedly was at the residential facility because her most recent foster placement did not work out.
