A Perrysburg man was arrested Monday (Oct. 12) after he allegedly made a statement at work last week about bringing his gun and shooting up the place on Monday.
Bowling Green Police went to the business on Innovation Drive around 9 a.m. after a co-worker reported the statement allegedly made by Aidyn Palmer, 20. Officers reportedly found a handgun with six rounds in Palmer’s pocket.
Palmer said he was just joking.
He was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and inducing panic, and taken to Wood County Jail.
Palmer was told the company has a policy prohibiting employees from carrying firearms, and that he would be subject to arrest if he returned to the business.
