BG Police arrest local woman for alleged domestic violence

A Bowling Green woman was arrested for domestic violence Sunday (2/2) in an apartment in the 1500 block of East Clough Street. Five children were home at the time of the incident.

When BG Police arrived at the apartment, someone yelled to them from an upstairs window that Aylisia Gordon, 33, was on the first floor of the residence.

Police knocked, and Gordon reportedly answered, saying “You all are not needed,” then slammed the door. Officers stopped her after she exited from the back and was reportedly walking away from the apartment.

A man in the apartment told police that Gordon had thrown an aluminum bat at him, and flipped over the kitchen table. A child in residence reportedly showed police a video of the incident.

Gordon was taken to Wood County Jail.
