Bowling Green Police arrested a woman Tuesday (2/25) after she allegedly kicked an officer multiple times.
Officers were called to the downtown area around 4:30 p.m., after someone reported a woman was walking on the sidewalk, yelling and threatening people.
Police found Elizabeth Barnett, 46, near the corner of North Main Street and East Court Street. Officers had responded to a call earlier in the day after someone reported her yelling at people in Wooster Green.
Barnett reportedly tried to run from officers on East Court Street. When officers were trying to arrest her, she reportedly kicked one officer in the leg multiple times, stomped on his foot, and tried to spit on officers.
Barnett was arrested for disorderly conduct with persistence, obstructing official business, and resisting arrest. She was taken to Wood County Jail.
