Bowling Green Police Division responded to a report of a hit-skip crash with a parked car in the 100 block of Wolfly Avenue on Wednesday shortly after 11 p.m.
A resident reported hearing an argument between a man and woman, with the woman telling the man to let her out of the vehicle. The man then reportedly backed into the resident’s vehicle and left the scene.
Police located the man and woman at a house in the 200 block of South Prospect Street. They told police they were having a verbal, not a physical argument. Police checked the woman and spoke with her privately, and saw no injuries.
The driver of the vehicle reportedly acknowledged that he backed into the car and drove away. He was cited for improper backing and leaving the scene of an accident.
