The Bowling Green Police Division will offer a late-night establishment employee training session on Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 4 – 5:30 p.m. This training is for employees and management staff of local businesses that sell alcoholic beverages or operate during overnight hours. It will take place in the police division training room, located at 175 W. Wooster St. Participants who complete the training will receive a certificate of attendance.
Due to limited space, early registration is recommended. Registration will close on Monday, Aug. 31, at 8 a.m. To secure a spot, register online.
The late night establishment employee training will cover topics such as civil liability, state and local liquor laws, and recognizing fake identification. The session will educate participants on preventing and addressing discriminatory conduct, ensuring that local businesses operate responsibly and in compliance with the law.
“We encourage all employees and management staff of bars, retail outlets, and other businesses open during late-night hours to take advantage of this free training,” said Lt. Ryan Tackett from the Bowling Green Police Division. “It’s a valuable opportunity to enhance the safety and legal compliance of our local establishments.”
This session is free for attendees, highlighting the police division’s dedication to supporting the Bowling Green community through proactive education and engagement.
