Bowling Green Police Division was called Monday (10/28) morning about attempts made to break into two hair cutting businesses on East Wooster Street that were closed at the time.
The first call came around 9 a.m., in the 400 block of East Wooster Street, where someone forced entry into a barber shop. When officers arrived, the front entrance was ajar, and pry marks could be seen near the deadbolt on the face of the door.
The business owner set a time to do a walk through of the site with an officer to see if anything had been stolen or damaged.
The second call came around 11:15 a.m., to the 1600 block of East Wooster Street, where the owner reported a broken window in the rear of a hair salon. The security door to the business was damaged, but the suspect did not gain entry to the salon.
