Bowling Green Police Division responded to a reported sexual assault Wednesday evening, in the 200 block of East Court Street.
A woman told officers she had been sexually assaulted by a man she met on the Bumble dating app. While at her apartment, the man reportedly sexually assaulted her, at one point holding her down by her neck making it difficult for her to breathe.
The woman told police that the man’s Bumble profile identified him as a 21-year-old male from Grand Rapids. She described him as a white male, approximately 6-feet 5-inches tall, heavier set, with black hair, green eyes, and a full beard. He was reportedly driving a new silver truck.
The case is under investigation.
