BG Police looking for man who stole truck parked downtown

Man photographed reportedly stealing truck from downtown on Sunday.

Bowling Green Police Division is looking for a man who stole a pickup truck in the downtown area on Sunday around 12:21 p.m.

The blue Chevy Silverado was reportedly stolen from street parking in the 100 block of East Wooster Street. The truck was unlocked and the keys were in it, since the owner was using it for loading and unloading.

Cameras in the downtown area caught images of a man getting in the truck and driving it away.

“We’re hoping someone will recognize him from the photos,” Police Lt. Dan Mancuso said this morning.

The male appears to have gray or white hair that was in a ponytail sticking out of his hat, as well as a mustache. Anyone who can identify this male or who has any information on this incident is asked to contact BGPD at 419-352-1131.
