Bowling Green Police responded to a report of a black bear being spotted in the city Tuesday (May 28). A resident in the 300 block of Sunrise Drive called in at 4:54 a.m. to report a black bear standing on its hind legs, reaching about 5 feet tall.
Police officers searched the area, and did not find a bear.
